Choose a reliable primary source
Correct the original before translating. A vague sentence stays vague in any language. Say where to go, when and under what conditions. Keep proper names and addresses recognisable on location.
Separate language from operational rules
Dashboard language, content language and conversation language serve different purposes. Switching language should not change a time or service. Prefer explicit 24-hour times and name the property’s time zone when relevant.
Review the sensitive details
Read access, payment, emergency and policy information before publishing. Custom property text, including emails and thank-you messages, needs checking in the languages you use: do not assume every free-text field is translated automatically.
Before you activate
